Allan Melrose Sliman (born 27 February 1906 in Busby, Scotland and died in 1945 in an RAF plane crash) was a Scottish footballer who played as a centre half. He made over 370 Football League appearances in the years before the Second World War. ==Career== Allan Sliman played locally for Arthurlie before Alex Raisbeck signed him in September 1928 for £280 for Bristol City. Sliman joined Chesterfield for £2,000 in March 1932. Allan Sliman joined Chelmsford City as player manager in October 1938 playing in their FA Cup run in 1938-39. Sliman managed Chelmsford City for 25 matches, of which 16 were won and seven lost. Sliman died in an RAF plane crash in 1945.〔
